I was given the "new & improved" Clear 3 version when left hospital after double knee. Hardly pumped w one pad and with the T connection (should be a Y) and 2 pads it just gave up.
Had my old Iceman Classic (w temp gauge and regulator, why they got rid of them is just stupid) and, using the T and two pads, my knees are ice, ice, baby!
I purchased the IceMan classic in anticipation of a knee replacement a year ago. Outstanding! However a year later it seems to be circulating a bit more air than ice water. Cannot find any leaks etc. not thrilled with that—but overall is was and is a godsend.
Thus system has helped keep my post-op swelling down.

★★★★★Seriously, these are the best things ever invented for ice therapy. Thanks be. I used the knee cuff after knee surgery and now am using the hip/back/rib cuff. This new cooler with the motorized pressure pulsing is even better than the other one. It gently increases the pressure of the ice water surrounding the injury for a minute or so, then releases and repeats. It reduces pain and swelling. I’m thrilled that I got this. It’s made a tremendous difference over traditional icing methods.
